Strauser Construction Co. is looking for experienced Project Managers that have knowledge in overall project scheduling, self-perform labor scheduling, subcontractor coordination & management, and general cost estimating needed during the course of a commercial construction project. A Project Manager should have experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings & specifications, attending meetings with the Owners project team, coordinating information with the Design Team, and insuring a project maintains overall schedule and cost constraints. A typical candidate for this position would have 5+ years of experience and a BS in Construction Management or relevant experience.

The responsibility of a Project Engineer would include overall trade coordination, schedule coordination and performing misc. cost estimates during the course of a project. A Project Engineer would have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, as well as limited exposure to both CAD and BIM. A typical candidate for this position would have up to 5 years of experience and BS in Construction Management or relevant experience.

An applicant for an Estimator position should have 5+ years of experience in cost estimating on commercial, industrial, higher education, K-12 education and/or multi-family projects. An Estimator for Strauser Construction Co. would be required to provide detail review of construction documents, assemble both hard bid and pre-construction budgets, and organize subcontractor/vendor quotes for each project.

A Superintendent at Strauser Construction Co. is our daily representative on the project sites. An applicant for this position should have the ability to coordinate with members of a project Design Team, accurately read construction documents, manage overall safety on the project site, coordinate subcontractors, vendors, & self-perform trades. The Superintendent will be expected to manage the daily workflow on site to assure compliance with project schedules, quality control and adherence to the teams plan for meeting cost constraints.

Strauser Construction Co. is continually looking for trade workers that are wanting to advance their career by stepping into a leadership position. A Carpenter Foreman applicant should have the ability to accurately read and interpret construction documents with the skill to translate that into the needed layout/organization of work on the project site. A Carpenter Foreman would be expected to lead a group of carpenters on daily tasks to meet safety, schedule and quality control expectations set forth by other members of the project team. Self-perform work led by a Carpenter Foreman might include concrete formwork, framing, doors/hardware and misc. finish carpentry.
